Is Club Mobay Worth it?

SO, YOU’RE VISITING JAMAICA AND YOU’RE CURIOUS IF CLUB MOBAY IS WORTH IT?

My short answer is YES!!!

Okay so, Why?
Let me break it down for you:

On Arrival: The first time we visited Jamaica we opted for Club Mobay at the airport and I'm seriously so glad we did. The reps meet you as soon as you exit your plane with your name on a board. They then whisk you through customs - past that GIANT line that usually starts to build up - so you don't have to wait in it and then bring you to a private line where a customs agent will check you into the country.

Once you are through customs they will take you to the Club Mobay Lounge (it's a private lounge no other airport guests can enter.) Upon arrival at the lounge the reps will grab you drinks while you wait for your taxi/bus/private car to arrive to take you to your hotel. They will assist you in showing you where to go to check-in with your shuttle provider (they will not go and get them for you.) They do hold your bags for you while you wait and give you a ticket to come back and pick them up.

There are snacks, sandwiches, bottles of water, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for you and a rest room. We loved it! So quick! Seamless!

Upon departure: After you’ve been dropped off at the airport and you’ve checked your bags/checked into your flight you then head to the Club Mobay counter. They will tell you what you need to do (you will already have a ticket with your names on them to get into Club Mobay, but you need to go through security first - you do get to use the fast lane through security.) Once you get through security you head to the Club Mobay lounge in the departures area. It's a multi-floor lounge and totally worth it. On the top floor you can watch as the places take off and land. There are MORE sandwiches, sushi, soup, coffee, tea... you name it... full bar, magazines, television, and a spa. It’s worth the extra few dollars to spend time in this lounge. They will even announce your flight number over a loud speaker so you are aware of when your flight is leaving. There is an adults-only and kid-friendly section to the lounge. You can leave your carry-on bags with an attendant at the front desk and walk around to do some shopping if you’d like.

They only allow a certain amount of people within Club Mobay per day so purchase your tickets early. You can do it as a bundle deal or buy either the Arrival or the Departure service.

So there you have it. For me it’s 100% worth it in the case that there may be a long line upon entering the country. If there isn’t that’s totally cool! At least you have a backup plan. And upon departure it’s worth it for me in case any flights get delayed you have somewhere to go thats a bit more chill + comfortable than an airport seat.
