Top Things To Do at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Headed to Walt Disney World Resort during the Fall months and attending the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? Need some ideas of what to do and what to expect while you’re there?

CHECK OUT THIS LIST OF THINGS TO DO WHILE AT MICKEY’S NOT-SO-SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY.

My #1 suggestion is to go in with a plan. Whether it’s to Trick-or-Treat down Main Street USA or ride the rides, you should determine what it is you’d like to do during your time in the Magic Kingdom on this very special night. There is SO much to do just in these few hours during the party that you’ll have to go back numerous times to experience it all.

Boo-To-You Parade
First things first, you NEED to see this parade. Mickey’s Boo-to-You parade is one of my absolute favorites. Even if you’re not so into parades this one would be the one to watch. From the Headless Horseman riding down Main Street USA, to grave diggers sending a chilling spark down your spine. There is just endless fun to be seen.

Dress Up and Trick or Treat
Get dressed up! Be aware though that Disney has some strict rules in place for costume wearers. You can read the rules HERE. Dress light because you’ll be moving around quite a bit and Florida weather can be warm even in October. Bring your own Trick or Treat Bags to the park because you will get A LOT of candy! You’ll receive a special map of the park and party with designated locations to pick up treats.

Hocus Pocus Villains Spectacular
Join the Sanderson sisters as they arrive for only a few hours at the Halloween party. The performance is held in front of Cinderella’s Castle.

Meet Your Favorite Characters
This is the perfect chance to meet some of your favorite characters and they’ll be all dressed up as well! You’ll have shorter wait lines to meet some of the most popular characters in WDW!

Ride the Rides with no lines!
If you’re more into the thrills of the rides at WDW then take advantage of shorter wait lines while at the Halloween party! Some attractions will be shut down but you can find a list of available rides on the WDW website.

Fireworks
Watch the Mickey’s Not So Spooky Spectacular light up the sky!

EAT!
There are NUMEROUS amounts of specialty foods that are only available during the halloween party.

Cruella’s Halloween Hideaway
You’ll have dinner at Tony’s Town Square and have a special visit by the one and only Cruella De Vil herself! You’ll also have preferred seating at the parade.

2019 Ticket Pricing
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets start at $74 for children ages 3 to 9 ($78.81 with tax) or $79 for those over 10 years old ($84.14 with tax).

NO MATTER WHEN YOU DECIDE TO ADVENTURE TO THE WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED. THE FOOD + ENTERTAINMENT HERE IS ALWAYS MAGICAL.
